A Permanent and Full time role, working 50-60% of hours in office and the remaining hours from home. This role will be based in either our Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Cambridge or Norwich office.

The role 

You will support the Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing (DIW) Manager to deliver on the firm’s DIW strategy, and work closely with the DIW Steering Group, employee networks, and others across the firm to coordinate a programme of internal and external comms, events, and activities. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting with the development of activity plans for the DIW team, and monitoring progress against these.

You will support with project coordination and delivery, research, and DIW data analysis, and help prepare meeting agenda and papers, take minutes, and monitor actions. Acting as a point of contact for all staff and partners at the firm, you’ll provide advice and support across the diversity, inclusion and wellbeing agenda and support the DIW Manager to ensure that regulatory and legislative requirements are met.

This role reports to the Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Manager, and works closely with HR and other colleagues across the firm including the Managing Partner, the Head of Learning and Development, Learning and Development Manager, National Service Line (NSL) leaders, Central Operations Group (COG) members, DIWSG members, employee network Chairs and members, and Wellbeing Supporters and Champions.

The person 

You will have prior experience in D&I, gained through a formal or voluntary role, as well as knowledge of diversity and inclusion policy and practice, and a good understanding of wellbeing in the workplace. The role requires someone who:

*         Has previous experience of supporting and/or coordinating HR, D&I or change projects.

*         Has a deep understanding of the needs of underrepresented communities and a commitment to making their voices heard.

*         Has high levels of emotional intelligence to be able to work collaboratively and form strong relationships and networks both internally and externally.

*         Has significant commercial awareness.

*         Has excellent attention to detail and presentation skills.

*         Can plan and prioritise their own and others workloads and is resilient and adaptable when faced with tight deadlines, change, or setbacks.

*         Has personal commitment to keeping up to date with diversity and inclusion best practice.
