This role is a fixed term contract, to cover a maternity leave of up to 12 months.

What does the role involve? 

This role is responsible for providing a comprehensive facilities service in the firm's busy Leeds office.  You will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Ensure all internal and external post is dealt with efficiently and effectively.
  • Set up meeting rooms/tables and chairs (including specified equipment) requirements in a timely manner.
  • On a rota basis undertake the town round in order to deliver/collect items from our local external clients.
  • Support the reprographics function of the team with required tasks to the highest standard (ie photocopying documents and plans, collating/binding documents, printing plans and scanning text/pictures and terriers).
  • On occasions, provide efficient reception cover.

The person

Given the challenges of this role, it is likely that your background and experience will include providing excellent client/customer service. You may also have previous experience of working within a professional services firm, working within a reprographics, facilities, front of house or mailroom role. You will also have a flexible approach to work and your working hours, and you are a team player that is able to work under limited supervision. 

Your experience 

The role additionally requires someone who is: 

  • Self-managed and confident in setting and prioritising their own work agenda. 
  • Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to demonstrate that you can convey complex matters in a way that different audiences can understand.
  • Confident and will be able to build sustainable relationships with clients, lawyers and internal colleagues. 
  • Organised and methodical in how you approach your work, and you have excellent attention to detail and can maintain confidentiality. 
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and can think on your feet and problem solve.
